The purpose of the Production Assistant Certification is to develop qualified individuals who can work on Utah film, TV and commercial sets.

This workshop is STEP 3 of the 5 step program. For more information on the Certification as a whole and to complete the other steps, visit the Utah Film Commission page here.

Cost: $100  // $75 for Avrec Members (Members: contact Avrec directly to register)

Part of the success of this program is having enough paid work available to those who are certified, so we limit these workshops based on the current demand for PA’s.

Brent is a 1st AD in the Directors Guild of America. He has been working as an assistant director since the early 2000’s and is know for his work on The Giver, High School Musical 2 and 3, Granite Flats, and Mosaic.
